No plaice like home

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

Kuroshio Sea is the second largest aquarium tank in the world and recently Jon Rawlinson filmed it for all to see. The results are incredible, here’s hoping he’s got a feature length version in the works as this is relaxing to say the least. The song playing in the background is Please don’t go by Barcelona, best crank it up and set the video for full screen.

Interesting book from Paperdoll exploring the rules which sometimes dictate peoples’ thinking when going about their work. Available to purchase or view online it’s a great little reminder of the guiding principles, we believe, you should ignore and just do your own thing.

2 lovely songs, with equally lovely videos, for Lia Ices from her latest album Necima. A nice little start to a lazy Sunday. More of Lia’s music here.

Ill Studio is the outlet for Parisien Thomas Subreville’s original thoughts and is a site to behold. Fashion, editorial and promotional design all get careful consideration in the hands of Thomas, the final printed pieces look stunning.

Anthony Burrill’s new show opened last night but images aren’t up yet but some teasers are and they look killer. I for one cannot wait to see the whole show on the walls.
