2009 : Over & Out

2009

Wowsers, what a quick year that was. Less than a 8 months old and we’ve done shedloads of stuff. A 3 day creative conference with over 40 of the best Irish and international talent, multiple gallery shows, a tee collection with Anthony Burrill and BT2, a 3 city artclub event with Heineken, Pecha Kucha Nights aplenty, an original art project with Absolut, collaborations with AIB, Movember, Bodytonic, Irish Architecture Foundation, BT2 and many more that escape me now. Damn, I need a drink.

And drink I will (accompanied by the obligatory Tube’O'Pringles’), and with every one opened I shall thank you all for making our first year amazing. We’ve been blown away by the positivity of spirit and support which has surrounded the project so far and we hope will continue as we grow even bigger next year. We have a tonne of projects in the pipeline and if even half of them come through it’s going to be a killer year.

Right, that’s enough business talk for now. There may be the odd scattering of posts over the coming week or so but we’ll be back in full flow from Monday 4th January. We wish you nothing but the best Christmas and New Years. We hope you get everything you’ve asked for and if you’re the kind that doesn’t ask hopefully the person getting you something noticed that time you dropped that hint.

Keep well and see you in 2010.

The Small Print.

Just a quickie to say Happy New Year and thanks for the fantastic work you all did on Offset. It was a real highlight of my year to attend. It can be a bit of solitary existence being a freelancer so it was great to see so much cool stuff going on in Dublin. Got to meet two of my heroes Oliver Jeffers and P.J. Lynch and have now developed professional crushes on at least twenty more!

Have signed up on the mailing list for Offset 2010.
