London Fashion week is live
It’s that time of the year again when fashion week collections are presented all over the world and the Irish head over to London like a posse. London is all about the New Blood, with new designers shaking up the industry and giving us techno fabrics, experimental silhouette, artful prints and colour combinations to pour over for the next six or seven months. London has been leading the pack with new technology and on Monday 21st will stream the Burberry show, by the most applauded British design house, live onto a huge screen in Piccadilly Square. There will be shows screened in the Underground to ensure there is no escape, even when running from one venue to another. The Irish have possibly never been better represented with designers showing in the BFC Fashion exhibition, the on show schedule at the BFC catwalk space, Topshop sponsored Fashion East show and the Vauxhaul Fashion Scout presentation. Tuesdays schedule is the hot ticket with Simone Rocha showing her third collection and a new collaboration ‘Les Guerriers’ presented by designer Joanne Hynes & artist Helen Steele.
